Custom Postage Stamp - Our First Apartment

This custom postage stamp picture is taken from the first day that me and my girlfriend moved into our first apartment together. It was the most closet space she has ever had, and unfortunately for me, I got almost none of it!

I will always remember that day as the first day of the rest of my life. It was such a big thing because we were moving across the country from California (where we went to college) to New Jersey (where I am going to medical school). She left behind all of her friends, family, and things that she was familiar with to be with me.

So this apartment is just a one bed one bath small apartment, but it is so much else. We designed it by ourselves, and fully furnished it to just how we like it. Neither of us had done anything like that before, it was such an experience.

It meant so much to me that she moved and accepted the change with such grace and I will always be appreciative of that. Now we have been in this apartment for a year, and it is still new and exciting for both of us.

This stamp, and this picture, is important so I never forget the joy of that day and of the sacrifices she made, and continues to make, for me. She is the love of my life, and I can't think of anybody or anything else that I would rather put on this personalized stamp of mine.
