Forever Stamp designs only recently opened up to commemorative designs but since then the variety of new stamp topics has expanded rapidly.
Now the US Postal Service is releasing many new designs each year including some of the recent issues below.
From sets of stamps commemorating the American Revolution to Black Heritage issues, the new releases mean you can now get the no-hassle of not having to worry about postage rate increases and brighten up your mail with a cool design at the same time.
Only in the past few years has the US Postal Service become comfortable enough with the program to begin releasing Forever commemorative stamps.
This is also hoped to increase stamp usage and perhaps even stamp collecting as the USPS has been losing money for years.
Lucky for us, we now get more frequent new stamp designs such as these examples and expect to continue seeing new stamps in the future.
Baseball has always been a popular stamp topic and is well represented as is the American revolution as both subjects have had sets of stamps issued to commemorate them.
The USPS releases their upcoming stamp design plans on a regular basis and there are no signs of slowing so we should keep getting new and interesting stamp designs for the foreseeable future.
Keep your eye out and you may find some on your mail like these!
One of the big complaints when the first forever postage stamps were issued was the fact that there were only definitive designs, such as the Statue of Liberty and Liberty Bell designs.
The United Stamps has a long history of exciting, beautiful and interesting stamp topics so its great to see this tradition continue with the changing times.
