I always like to prepare a photo postage stamp well in advance of the holiday season, because it is always so hectic.
In order to alleviate some of the stress and expense of the holiday season, I start preparing early in the year. If you're on a budget this also helps spread the expense throughout the year.
One thing that I am a stickler for is personalization. I don’t like to send out impersonal cards, which is another reason why I have to start early on.
I usually design a special Christmas card each year. The other part of my personalization process is customizing my own stamps.
My family and friends always know who the card is from without even looking at the return address, because they recognize my special stamps.
This year, I am using a picture of my cat. I really love this photo of him sitting under the Christmas tree. It was not easy to get him to lay there and I know they can appreciate the effort it took to get him under there!
Not only will my family and friends love the picture, but I know they will appreciate the special touch.
Customized stamps also come in handy for other occasions as well. I used my graduation picture as my custom stamps for my thank you cards after graduation. I plan to use a picture of my boyfriend and I on our personalized postage stamps for our engagement announcement.
It’s these little details that really help your mail stand out from the rest!
